About Lee Schwalb
Lee Schwalb is a NY State Licensed Acupuncturist, and a Board Certified Chinese Herbalist through the New York Institute of Chinese Herbology. He holds a Master of Science in Traditional Acupuncture Medicine from the New York College of Health Professions, and has over 20 years of clinical experience in treating a wide variety of health problems. The four year curriculum at his school consists of over 2800 hours of training in acupuncture, herbal medicine, practical clinical experience, tai chi, and adjunct therapies which include: Tui na, (Chinese massage), Eastern nutrition, laser therapy, electric stimulation, and auriculotherapy. Lee also incorporates modalities such as the powerful detox therapy know as Kambo, as well as PEMF therapy and sound healing.
His treatments involve looking at your body as a whole, taking into account both physical and psychological aspects. Your entire constitution as well as your diet and lifestyle are assessed in order to establish what is called a “pattern of disharmony.” After the initial examination and treatment, a customized treatment plan is established and might include one or more of the following: Acupuncture, herbs, aromatherapy, diet/nutrition, supplements and general lifestyle modification.
Lee brings extensive clinical experience to his patients having treated people across ages and issues including idiopathic pain, acute injuries, stress and anxiety, digestive and respiratory problems, hormonal imbalances, fatigue, skin disorders, allergies and fertility / gynecological issues. He is dedicated to working with patients to find the most effective and nurturing path towards restoring optimal health and well-being.
